As an experienced Nurse from the NHS or private sector, you'll join the brand-new team at Asher House as a Mental Health Nurse, working 37.5 hours per week (12.5 hour shifts), where you will change lives for the better.

What you will be doing


As a qualified a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), you will ensure people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.
No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 37.5 hours a week, 3-4 days a week. 


Where you will be working


Location: Asher House, Third Avenue, Walton On The Naze, CO14 8JU


Asher House consists of six bespoke, single-person apartments within a registered care setting with 24-hour nursing support. 
It provides a robust environment and high-intensity care model which is designed to support people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviours. This includes service users who may be stepping down from the hospital or whose community placements have broken down.
