Mental Health Practice Lead

Hampshire, Farnborough (Buller Court)

Permanent; Part Time, Full Time or Job Share

Salary up to £42,000 pro rata dependent on skills and experience, plus, benefits!

Brilliant outcomes through integrated health, housing and care. That’s when it hits home.

This is your chance to be part of something brilliant at Home Group, where clinical interventions work hand in hand with daily support. We’re trailblazing the way in delivering brilliant long-term outcomes for vulnerable people through integrating health, housing and care.

We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome (and growing) team in Farnborough which provides support to 26 customers with mental health and complex needs to make positive steps towards independence.

As a Registered clinician or Social Worker, you’ll be developing our team of Support Coordinators to ensure that high-quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety, recovery, wellbeing and maximises your customer’s ability to live independently and feel enabled.

As an experienced professional, you’ll lead practice development, developing and delivering specialist training packages to our colleagues, embedding core competencies as well as oversight of clinical supervision. You’ll also be the point of contact for individual support and coaching for Colleagues and Managers in our services. You’ll be really enhancing colleagues’ knowledge and skills, promoting regular, honest, and supportive feedback.

What’s even more brilliant, you’ll be able to really make your mark (there’s no red tape or mounds of paperwork here!). You’ll be shaping our services, developing essential standards and quality outcomes.

With customer care at the forefront of everything we do, you will inspire others and advocate a philosophy of care that is person centred, maintains dignity, independence and ensures it is right for that person at that time. You will be enabling us to maintain high standards of support and intervention.

Be yourself at Home

Home Group is committed to tackling prejudice and discrimination, not just for our customers, but for our colleagues too! We’re super proud of our internal Diversity Networks and allies (Multicultural, LGBTQIA+ and Disability) which support colleagues from different backgrounds to be their true selves. We recognise and celebrate our differences, together we make Home Group a great place to work!

A bit about you

You’ll be a Registered Professional with any of the following specialisms. Registered Mental Health Nurse, Community Practise Nurse, Registered Occupational Therapist or qualified and experienced Social Worker. It’s your “can do” positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. You’ll have experience of working with young people or adults as well as managing, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating training and reflective practice to colleagues on an individual and group basis.

You’ll have an eye for detail, being able to analyse complex data and make expert judgements. You’ll really impress us with your ability to unleash the potential of colleagues through offering clinical advice, coaching, mentoring, and training. You’ll also bring a creative spark and ability to understand where our customers are in their lives, using evidence-based practice, care delivery and current occupational therapy-based interventions.

About our team

You'll be working alongside Jay our Service Manager and her awesome team who are all super passionate about supporting customers with positive interventions to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  They're really looking forward to welcoming you into their team.

As well as your brilliant Farnborough team you’ll also join a small (but perfectly formed) team of Clinicians working across our services in Hampshire as well as being supported with clinical supervision from our Central Clinical Team lead by Dr Nicola Stefanou.

Working flexibly

This is not a 9-5 role unless you want it to be! You tell us what hours you would like to work (and how many up to 37.5) and we will do what we can to make that happen.

As our service is 24/7 you can fit your hours in to suit both yourself and the service. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours.
