On 1st February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust – a truly once-in a generation development. Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and exciting clinical setting? If so, why don’t you come and join us at Harefield Hospital.

We are currently seeking newly qualified band 5 Staff Nurses to work within all our specialities: surgery, cardiology, transplant and critical care. We are also recruiting to our successful rotation programme which enables individuals to gain experience in 3 different settings before working in a preferred specialty.

We need enthusiastic, open minded nurses who are keen to work at the leading edge of cardiothoracic practice. If you want to be a part of an exceptional team, and you are a caring individual with the ability to communicate/work effectively within a team, please submit an application form via the NHS jobs website

Cardiothoracic experience is not required as there will be opportunity to gain skills and knowledge under the guidance of our Practice Education teams, ward mentors, and nursing development team. You will develop a range of highly transferrable acute nursing skills whilst working in a supportive and highly knowledgeable team.

New graduates are supported with our comprehensive preceptorship programme. Accommodation is available for those relocating from other parts of the country.

Hours of work are weekdays/nights/weekends – the hours are negotiable in line with the ward requirements.
