Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology/BMT & Oncology

Location: University College Hospital Private Care,London (HCA @ UCH

Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs pw (shifts: Long days/nights/weekends) 

Salary: £42,510-£46,870 inclusive of shift allowance and dependent on relevant skills and experience  + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

Brilliant opportunity for a Staff Nurse to take the next step in their career development as a Haematology Senior Staff Nurse based @ University College Hospital Private Care, London

As a Senior Staff Nurse, working within a multidisciplinary team, you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our patients. You will be responsible for working in a supporting experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients are cared for in a safe, caring and comfortable environment. This will include meeting their medical, physical and emotional needs by effectively communicating with the patient and their families

Skills and experience: 

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Substantial post registration experience with a Haematology or oncology setting 
  • SACT passport
  • Chemo giver
  • Mentorship and Preceptorship experience, and a desire to work towards an ENB 998 certificate
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills
