ABOUT THE ROLE
A competitive salary of £34,632 (£18.50p/h) and £2,000 Welcome Bonus* are not the only that you will be rewarded you when you join Castle Rise Care Home.
As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at Castle Rise Care Home, you’ll use your compassion and initiative to make sure our residents get the quality care they deserve. We’ll look to you to plan, manage and monitor the delivery of nursing that meets all of our residents’ needs. This means you’ll implement person-centred care plans that make a real difference to our residents’ day-to-day lives. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you can expect to plan rotas, recruit, train and mentor staff and build relationships with local regulators and social services. In the role of Unit Nurse Manager (General), you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to take your unit from strength to strength, with plenty of opportunities for professional development along the way.

ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is an up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You’ll be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious and resilient, you’ll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.

REWARDS PACKAGE

As well as a competitive salary, Barchester offers one of the best rewards packages in the care sector. Your generous benefits would include:
• A £2000 Golden Hello* to welcome you to the Barchester family
• Annual NMC pin renewal
• Rewarding Excellence bonus, meaning you will be financially rewarded by up to £500* for a Good or Outstanding CQC inspection
• Unlimited access to our generous refer a friend scheme, earning up to £500* per referral
• Access to a wide range of retail and leisure discounts at big brands and supermarkets
• Free access to medical specialists, who are available for a second opinion if you need it to make a decision with confidence
• Confidential and free access to counselling and legal services
• Tax code review service, where we will check that you are on the right code and paying the right level of tax
• Option to join our monthly staff lottery alongside thousands of colleagues across the UK
• Access to the RCNi portal, with over 200 evidence-based modules which you can add to your PIN revalidation
• Opportunity to experience senior clinical leadership, professional support, and career development opportunities
