International and Private Care is the global face of Great Ormond Street Hospital aka ‘GOSH’; a brand that is recognised around the world for the amazing care and treatment that we deliver for children and the outcomes that we achieve, and following the promotion of the current post holder, we now have a rare opportunity for a talented, inspirational, collaborative Head of Nursing to join our committed team.

The last two years have been a challenging period for international healthcare, however we are excited by what the future holds for IPC at GOSH. In joining us as our new Head of Nursing you will be influential in shaping the future of our business as we recover from the disruptions to global healthcare caused by the pandemic, and work hard to position ourselves for a strong recovery so that we can get back to treating as many children as possible from around the world. Our new Head of Nursing will help us develop and launch new clinical services, bringing innovation, commercial acumen and a track record of securing safe, effective and high quality care.

Whether your experience has been gained in paediatric nursing or as an RGN, in the NHS or the independent healthcare sector in the UK or internationally, you will be a credible leader with the ability to coordinate, influence and negotiate with key departments across the wider hospital to ensure that we are optimised to realise our plans and live up to our obligations to our international partners and stakeholders. You will demonstrate how you deliver within the setting of GOSH Always Values and inspired by our hospital’s motto: The child first and always.
