Barwon Health, situated in the regional coastal city of Geelong Victoria, is seeking Registered Psychiatric Nurses/Mental Health Nurses to join our Mental Health Drugs and Alcohol Service. If you are a mental health nurse ready to advance your career and quality of life, we are ready to assist you in making the move to join us.

Your new role

Work within one of our two adult acute psychiatric units for adults (18-50) or older adults (50+):

  • Providing high quality, best practice direct delivery of psychiatric treatment and care to consumer Striving to continuously update and develop skills in a timely manner Ensuring a multidisciplinary approach

About you:

  • Recognised Psychiatric/mental health nursing qualifications and experience Demonstrates eligibility and compliance with AHPRA registration standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team Committed to working towards a best practice model and delivery of care
