Up to £50.00 per hour, depending on experience

Our Cardiology team currently have an opportunity for a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist at Bournemouth Hospital. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.. As a Cardiac Physiologist you will;

  • Undertake a full range of complex electrophysiology procedures and ablations within our highly equipped cath lab, using Carto mapping system, Cryoablation, and Lab pro system.

  • Support the lead physiologist with CRM implants and follow up service.

  • Alongside the physiologist lead, to develop protocols and procedures to meet local and national requirements.

  • Ensure accurate clinical records are maintained in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines

  • Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements.


To succeed as a Cardiac Physiologist you will;

  • Be currently be registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist.

  • Hold a BTEC ONC and HNC Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and / or BSc Clinical Science /Physiology or equivalent experience.

  • As required for RCCP registration; you will also have a valid Immediate Life Support certificate.

  • Hold accreditation in IBHRE (EP) / previous NASPE / BHRS (EP) accreditations.

  • To hold a current ILS certificate - on site training can be given.

  • An excellent communicator and team worker
