As a Staff Nurse in our Outpatients at Hereford Hospital, it's vital that your a Registered Nurse. You bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC, as well as post-registration experience. You're passionate about patient care and it shows.
As an Outpatients Staff Nurse, the role is varied and requires you to be an expert in your field. You will:

Setting up our clinics daily and assisting a wide range of consultants including surgeons and Medical Consultants.

Chaperoning and assisting with eg colorectal , gynae examinations / procedures, joint injections, venepuncture and ECG monitoring .

Running the treatment room , dealing with wounds and assisting with minor operations .
It's a very varied role as the Opd is multi disciplined .
- Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron led care in a consultant-led service
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
- Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
- Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
