Job Details

We are looking for a Theatre Healthcare Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary team at The Princess Grace Hospital.

Location: The Princess Grace Hospital

Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours

Shift Days; Monday to Saturday.

Shift Patterns: 7:30-4pm, 12:30-9pm, 4pm-9pm

Salary range: £25,428 - £28,254 + allowances.

You will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance and will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain the agreed standards of care. Further assisting with both patient and non-patient manual handling, cleaning duties and waste disposal, transportation and reporting of equipment, re-stocking and ensuring the department is tidy.

Skills & Experience:

·        Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within Theatres.

·        BTEC Diploma, Health and Social Care Level 2 

·        Be comfortable with a physical role which involves pushing beds and lifting heavy equipment.

·        Experience of working in a hospital environment

·        Excellent customer care skills 

·        Good time management skills 

·        Ability to work well as a team with staff at all levels 

·        Be comfortable doing a role which has some portering duties.
