We are seeking to appoint two Associate Professor of Nursing (any Field), with a national profile in relation to nursing education and a growing international portfolio of nursing focused research and scholarship. It is an exciting time to join the School of Health and Social Care with continuous expansion across the various areas in the school. If you are a passionate about the nursing profession and preparing future nurses, then this is the role for you! You will be joining a vibrant academic team who work with other colleagues across the school as part of a supportive, collaborative interprofessional community. We will expect you to represent us nationally and internationally as a nurse education ambassador for the School and University. We are particularly interested in hearing from colleagues with expertise in the field of intellectual and learning disabilities.
As a member of the nursing subject group within the School, you will provide leadership to the academic team in partnership with the Head of Subject and others. You will contribute to the leadership and delivery of the nursing programmes at all levels and will support nursing academic colleagues with the development of their research capacity, grant writing and publications.
You will be supported in the role to further develop your own academic career in your identified academic pathway (Professional Practice, Learning & Teaching, Research or Business & Enterprise) through access to a range of resources available to all University staff and through a coaching approach to personal development. We work in an inclusive way and can support flexible and remote working. We will also consider applications for part-time time working, job sharing and secondments.

- Doctoral level qualification in relevant discipline
- Professional qualifications relevant to discipline.
- Current registration with the relevant Professional Statutory Regulatory Body for the role.
- Profile that demonstrates at least national standing and some international engagement.
- Generation of external income with strong links within the industry

Salary: £51,799 - £60,022 per annum (Grade 7)
