We are looking for a registered part time school nurse to join our Medical Centre. We are looking for committed, motivated and flexible applicants who enjoy working with young people. The role is varied and includes minor illness and injury work, chronic illness management, health promotion, immunisations, and trip planning. Nursing experience within a school, general practice or A/E would be advantageous. Good communication, organisational and IT skills are essential.
We are looking for someone who can cover variable shifts through the week (including weekend) and one 24-hour shift per week.
The salary is based on the NHS Pay Structure, benefits include free lunch provided on site when working, NMC fees paid, free parking, and free use of the School Sports Facilities (subject to terms and conditions).
