Gower College Swansea is a multi-sited Further Education College with around 4,500 full time and over 10,000 part time learners.  We provide almost 40 A Level subjects and 40 separate vocational subject choices at a range of levels, including an extensive provision for work based learning.

This role is one of two Health Advisor roles in the College providing a professional and pro-active health advisory service to students, promoting Health and Wellbeing across the College and providing advice and guidance relating to student health issues to relevant staff. 

A NMC registered nurse you will have experience of working with young people and of delivering health education programmes.  Ideally you will also possess a recognised mental health qualification. You will be aware of current health issues pertinent to health and education and possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of clinical governance.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
