As our Spinal CNS you will be working autonomously alongside other clinicians to ensure that patients receive high quality and appropriate specialist care, information, and support.

To succeed as our Spinal CNS you will need:

  • Current knowledge and practical experience of caring for patients with spinal conditions within an Orthopaedic or Neurosurgical theatre, ward, or outpatient setting.

  • An enquiring mind that is open to learning and developing in an innovative and agile environment.

  • The desire to learn from our expert senior clinicians and jointly deliver an exceptional service.

  • The ability to work cohesively within a Multi Disciplinary Team focused on providing a safe and high quality service to spinal pathway patients.

  • The confidence to work between several specialists, departments, and organisations, and to promote integrated working practices.

The successful candidate would be expected to provide appropriate teaching, support, and guidance for colleagues and patients.

All our patients, no matter how complex, are discharged from hospital to a safe place with the right support mechanisms and an ongoing plan in place. The CNS role is integral in getting this right every time, supported by our culture of reflection and continuous improvement.

Our Benefits

In return, we offer a working environment that will help you grow your skills and experience and get the best out of life. Other benefits include 25 days' annual holiday (increasing with service), gym membership, private healthcare and a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits.

Be your best and join us in building a healthier nation.
