Chester Hospital | Ophthalmology | Bank Contract | Part Time | Salary up to £22.00 per hour dependent on experience.

As an Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner at our Chester Hospital, you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body, with the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. In addition, you're Ophthalmic trained with post-registration experience and great communication skills.

As an Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner, you will:

  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities

  • Deliver the highest standards of care for our pre-operative patients

  • Carry out nurse-led pre-operative assessments prior to ophthalmic surgery

  • Assist with ophthalmic treatments like laser surgery and other minor procedures

  • Embrace education and training in new techniques

  • Ensure the team's practice is up to date and in line with NICE guidance
