  • Location: The Princess Grace Hospital  
  • Contract Type; permanent, full time 37.5 hours
  • Operating times; 07:00 am – 9pm
  • Shift Days; Monday to Saturday;
  • Shift Patterns; earlies, lates and long days
  • Salary range: £42,336 - £47,040 depending on experience.

About the Facility

The Princess Grace Hospital opened in 1977 and includes 8 theatre’s including a hybrid theatre, a robotic surgery suite and 3 laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery providing a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none and includes fully integrated and equipped theatres.

There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Orthopaedic Surgery, Spinal Surgery, Breast Care, Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary and Hepatology Surgery, Sports and Exercise Medicine, Urgent Care, Urology, and Robotic Surgery

As a Senior ODP you will be excited to work with world class surgeons, in state of the art environments, you may see some exclusive robotics in practice too and complex breakthrough surgeries.  This is a great opportunity to learn and excel in your specialist area.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced Anaesthetic Theatre Nurse, or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Registered to practice in the UK
  • Substantial Scrub experience in Robotic Surgery: Si and Xi Da Vinci Robot. Robotic Gynae, Urology and Colorectal
