Our Wessex Endoscopy department currently have an opportunity for a qualified Endoscopy Nurse to join our team and we'll support you to be your best. As an Endoscopy Nurse you will have endoscopy experience, be able to work flexible hours to suit the department, be an excellent communicator and team worker. You must hold and RGN or equivalent qualification.
Being part of a small but busy endoscopy team with a growing business as we work towards JAG accreditation. A requirement to be integrated in the decontamination of scopes along with all associated processes, integration within the endoscopy team with regards to all aspects of working in the endoscopy room. An opportunity to enhance and learn new skills within the areas of recovery and theatre. Being involved in the pre-assessment of all endoscopy patents and liaising with associate departments to ensure a streamlined service for our patients.
- Assisting consultant during Endoscopy procedures
- Caring for patients during Endoscopy procedures
- Maintaining patients airways
- Assisting with scope decontamination
