With a patient-centred approach, you should be able to communicate effectively, and with compassion, to patients and their relatives with different levels of understanding. And, adaptable and responsive to changing needs, you’ll have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being a strong team player. Ideally, you’ll also bring mentorship or teaching experience or qualifications, and good leadership skills.
