Current opportunities
Clinical Nurse Level 2 (L2)
The Clinical Nurse Level 2 (L2) is primarily responsible for the efficient management of the ward and for ensuring and delivering a high standard of patient care in a safe, effective and efficient environment. 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Eligibility and progressed to register with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Registration 
  • Experience in the mental health setting
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and documentation skills
  • Up to date knowledge and application of treatment approaches to mental health disorders
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Demonstrated competency to building effective teams, managing conflict and leading change initiatives to improve patient care

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience working in an acute care/mental health/drug and alcohol environment
  • Post grad qualification in nursing related specialities 

Registered Nurse (RN)
The role of the Registered Nurse is to provide best practice clinical care to mental health patients within a hospital setting.  

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Eligibility and progressed to register with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Registration 
  • Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience working in an acute care/ mental health/ drug & alcohol environment Previous experience working in an acute care environment Post graduate qualifications in nursing related specialities
