The Opportunity

Our Wessex Endoscopy department currently have an opportunity for a qualified Endoscopy Nurse to join our team and we'll support you to be your best. As an Endoscopy Nurse you will have endoscopy experience, be able to work flexible hours to suit the department, be an excellent communicator and team worker. You must hold and RGN or equivalent qualification.

As a Endoscopy Nurse / Practitioner, you will:

• Be part of a small but busy endoscopy team with a growing business as we work towards JAG accreditation.
• Be integrated in the decontamination of scopes along with all associated processes, integration within the endoscopy team with regards to all aspects of working in the endoscopy room.
• Enhance and learn new skills within the areas of recovery and theatre.
• Be involved in the pre-assessment of all endoscopy patents and liaising with associate departments to ensure a streamlined service for our patients.

• Assist consultants and care for patients during Endoscopy procedures

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire and care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.

The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, an endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department, an onsite Radiology and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. We have Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy onsite so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There's also a 24 hr resident doctor onsite (RMO).
