We offer a vast range of first-class medical and surgical services performed by expert consultants. We take pride in the high standards of care and treatment our patients receive and have been awarded an overall CQC rating of Good. We want to be the best and safest health and well-being provider so that our patients, customers and partners have an exceptional experience with us.

Hereford houses two operating theatres and a two-bay recovery suite. A wide range of elective procedures are carried out in the specialties of Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Minor Vascular, Ophthalmology and Endoscopy for adults aged eighteen years old and above.

Our operational hours are primarily weekdays with occasional lists outside of this, but we do not work late or night shifts and out of hours are covered by on-calls with staff compensated by generous pay enhancements. Our day starts at either 07:30 or 08:00 hrs and finishes at 18:30 hrs with the opportunity to leave earlier at times.

What are the Benefits? What's in it for you?

With drive, passion and high standards, you might join us from the NHS or a private setting and make full use of your skills and knowledge. We invest in your career through training and CPD with additional opportunities for staff in roles such as link or lead practitioners for a multitude of health-related areas both within the department and the wider hospital.

We provide Surgical First Assistants from our team of nurses and ODP's and new members of staff expressing an interest in this role would be supported to obtain this post-graduate qualification. Similarly, we would support those individuals interested in expanding their role into anaesthetics and recovery too if not already qualified to do so.

We also offer a unique health and wellbeing focused benefits package. This includes free membership across all of our Fitness & Wellbeing clubs, along with free private healthcare. Not only this but we also offer a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits and there is also free parking onsite.
