At Woking Hospital we pride ourselves on providing exceptional standards of treatment and care in our state-of-the-art facilities and CPD programme. You'll be part of a close-knit team headed by our matron, who provides the foundation and lead for our patient centred care. And, with our consultant-led service, you'll be working directly with some of the best clinical talent around, gaining experience with new practices, equipment and facilities. Which are maintained to a high standard - we take great pride in our low infection rates and a good CQC score.

Our specialities include Women's and Men's health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you might join us from the NHS or a private setting. As a Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner you will;

- Work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities, which are all state-of-the-art.
- Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
- Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.

To succeed as a Theatre Nurse/ ODP / Scrub RGN you will have;

- High levels of focus and engagement.
- A passion for high standards and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
- Post-registration experience.
- Excellent communication skills and will be a great team worker. You will also be flexible and motivated.
