Vacancy for Nurse Practitioner (Accident & Emergency)
The Gibraltar Health Authority invites applications from Nurse Practitioners who by virtue of their citizenship, are entitled to take up employment and who are, or on employment will be, resident in Gibraltar.
Candidates must be Registered General Nurses with previous experience in the community and hold an MSc/BSc Hons degree in Nursing/Physician Associate. The applicant must be able to demonstrate and evidence previous experience and clinical skill set of working as an autonomous practitioner who have actively lead on Accident & Emergency related development programmes.
This appointment will be on contract terms for a maximum period of 24 months and may be renewed, conditional on satisfactory completion of the term of service and the circumstances prevailing within the department at the time.
Return economy class air-fares from the UK are payable in full. In addition, a rented accommodation allowance of £350, is payable, solely whilst on a fixed-term contract and upon submission of an official rental agreement.
The salary is dependent on years of reckonable service as a Nurse Practitioner and carries the following salary scale per annum: £42,439; £43,949; £46,128; £47,473; £48,980 and £50,658.
