Registered Learning Disability Nurse - Up to £30139.20 (full and part time available)

The Priory Hospital Market Weighton is an18 bed registered independent hospital which has recently achieved CQC OUTSTANDING. Our goal is provide person centred, recovery focused care and treatment for males who experience serious and enduring mental illness. We also offer a bespoke offender treatment programme for patients who have a significant forensic history. We facilitate a safe, structured and gradual reintroduction into the local community.

Situated in the attractive town of Market Weighton , a short drive from York and Hull, the service is ideally located for safe, structured and gradual reintegration into the local community. We've has a number of successful community discharges over the past 3 years, and we are very proud of these outcomes - 18% discharged to local community 33% discharged in to residential living (60% of those priory local residential services) and 36% discharged in to supported living.

You will work alongside our Multi-Disciplinary Team that provides a service that positively promotes recovery and independence. You will provide direct support to ensure that individuals are progressing towards their goals of community integration, strengthened daily living skills and improved insight into mental health and risk factors.

We also want someone that is motivated and someone who prides themselves on person centred support and individualised care pathways. We have a fantastic team at Market Weighton and we want to continue our good work with your help. Overall we want people who are confident in their ability to support someone in their recovery and work with the team to achieve their goals. You will be flexible, caring and supportive, sharing values that put the service user first, and be keen to contribute to service development.
