Senior Nurse Specialist Concierge Services / Patient Navigation

This is your opportunity to become a vital part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider, specialists in complex care.

We are actively looking for a Senior Nurse, to join our Concierge Services Team, in the North West of England, to be responsible for navigating and co-ordinating patient admissions, ( remotely over the phone ) to our specialist hospitals. This particular role will have a focus on Oncology and Haematology cases.

  • Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, a rota of early and lates, covering service hours 8am-8pm.
  • Permanent contract, with a very attractive salary, and additional benefits such as private medical insurance and contributory pension.

About the Concierge Team

It’s difficult to depict an average day within the Concierge team as no two days are alike. An international call or referral from the NHS or a GP can come at any moment. Many of the transfers are technically challenging with various obstacles to overcome. They discuss case load management including any major international or domestic transfers which are currently pending.The Concierge service provides a single point of contact, where all healthcare medical needs can be addressed & navigated no matter how complex or difficult (including ICU to ICU transfers from all over the world and complex oncology and haematology patients).They have supported patients from over 47 countries, including eight red list countries, whilst abiding by government regulations. The team operate a 24/7, 365 days a year clinically nurse-led service with access to all HCA UK sites.Its extremely interesting & rewarding career as well as the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and dynamic team,, based in London, ready to engage in any eventuality
  • Ideally we are looking for a Nurse who has;
  • NMC Registered Adult registration. Significant post graduate experience.
  • Oncology - Haematology Nursing experience
  • Suitable for equivalent of CNS Level
  • Advanced clinical assessment qualification desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and co-ordination skills
  • Similar assessment or previous navigation experience advantageous
  • Second language desirable
  • Willing to travel to London for Training. Occasion onsite visits are required to our North West England ( Cheshire and Greater Manchester ) hospitals.
