Cambridge Hospital | Paediatrics | Bank Contract | Includes weekend work

£25.00 per hour

As a Children's Nurse at our Cambridge Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, including on the surgical ward, you're dual trained and confident in both paediatric and adult care environments. Ideally, you bring ILS or ALS skills.

 

As a Children's Nurse, you will:

  • Play a vital role in the child's journey through the hospital

  • Be every patient's trusted guide, supporting children and their parents or guardians

  • Deliver high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of our ward team

  • Broaden your skills across a wide variety of cases

  • Work within different specialist areas

  • Benefit from flexible hours

 

The Person

 

To succeed as a Children's Nurse in our Ward you will;

  • Have a registration with the appropriate governing body and have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC.

  • Have post-registration experience.

  • Be an excellent communicator and team worker - plus be flexible and motivated.

  • Have the ability to fully understand each patient's needs and provide individual attention.

  • Be able to commit to shifts on a fairly regular basis or sometimes short notice
