Nuffield Health is Britain's largest healthcare charity. We're balancing our social values with strong business discipline to help the UK get healthy and stay that way. We're all about great people, too - recruiting and nurturing talent in a supportive, development-led setting.

Right now, we're looking for a Cosmetics Staff Nurse to join our team in Bournemouth.

About the Hospital

Founded in 1957, Nuffield Hospital Bournemouth is an exceptionally caring environment with 41 beds, 3 Theatres, an Endoscopy room, a Cardiac Catheter Suite and 2 Outpatient Theatres (minor procedures). Our service provision is varied, covering everything from Outpatients and minor procedures through to major surgical specialties.

About the Person

We are looking for an experienced Staff Nurse who is currently NMC registered and who has experience working with Cosmetic patients and Consultants. Candidates should ideally have experience in supporting the Consultants in clinics, performing pre-assessment, wound care and supporting the patients through their journey to include all pre and post operative care.

Excellent English language skills, IT literacy and the ability to comply with NMC standards for record keeping is essential.

Hours and Shifts

Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts throughout the week. Shift pattern - mixture of Early (8am to 4pm), and Mid-shifts of 10am to 6pm or similar, with occasional Early shifts on rotation on Saturdays.

Any applicants wishing to visit the department prior to applying or interview would be welcome to make contact. This position may close early if we find the right candidate.

The Benefits

In return, we offer a working environment that will help you grow your skills and experience and get the best out of life. Other benefits include 25 days' annual holiday (increasing with service), gym membership, private healthcare and a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits.

Be your best and join us in building a healthier nation.

Applications will be considered as they are received and interviews will be arranged accordingly. We reserve the right to close adverts early, for example, where we have received an unprecedented high volume of applications. Therefore please apply early to ensure you are considered for the post.

Company

Today, we are Britain’s largest not for profit healthcare business. We reinvest all profit in our expert staff, our technology and our facilities, to provide accessible, innovative ways for people to get and stay healthy.
